"Static Charters" for Trade Shows and Events
A Static Charter, as the name implies, is a charter where the yacht is moored in the port for an event or show so that you can entertain and hold business meetings. Static charters surpass hotels for the ability to entertain clients - you will have an attentive crew, luxury environment, elegant venue, and complete privacy. Static charters conceptually align your company with the image of a superyacht - in short success.
During a Static Charter, the yacht is transformed into a meeting and entertainment facility. Additional carpets are brought on board to protect the decks, which are typically tented so that guests have privacy and protection from the elements during the show. The crewmembers keep the guests happy throughout the day by offering refreshments and canapes. During the evening, most companies invite their best clients aboard for cocktails and a gourmet dinner, eaten in an elegant private dining room or up on the deck.
As an added benefit, members of the chartering company can sleep aboard their yacht during the show, saving hotel room cost and providing a nice "perk" for those who are working hard at the show. They will be taken care of by their attentive crew throughout the show in exactly the same manner as if they had chartered the yacht for a two week luxury holiday cruise.
